About Me

Hello there!

My name is Fernando Canellius and I am a graduate of Xiamen University Malaysia with a major of Bachelor of Engineering in Digital Media Technology with working experience as a Graphic Designer as well as a Multimedia Designer.

Ever since I was young, I have had a huge amount of passion when it comes to drawing or anything related to art as it felt like an escape and where I could express myself. During school breaks, I spend most of my free time picking up a piece of paper, grabbing a pencil, and drawing anything that comes up in my mind. I did not start talented as my early works were not as great as I thought they would be, but after years of experience, bit by bit, my skill as an Artist and Illustrator refines.

Aside from art, I have also taken an interest when it comes to movies and cinematography. I watched a significant amount of movies and felt amazed at how each of those movies was able to tell stories and bring out many emotions for people to feel with the use of clever pacing, direction, and editing. There were multiple amounts of school projects requiring students to make videos such as short films, commercials, and talk shows -- that is when I started picking up video and other media-related editing and gaining more experience as I enjoy editing every piece that I have done so far and make more of them to become a Video Editor.

My specialties include the use of several Adobe products (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate), Sony Vegas, CorelDRAW, CLIP STUDIO PAINT, Autodesk Maya, and Unity. I also do some programming as I have learned some languages such as C, C++, C#, SQL, Visual Basic, and HTML.
